IPN Brainpower Consulting Inc. Calibration/Application Engineer For our client, an automotive industry’s leading provider of electric and hybrid-electric drive technologies, we are looking for an Application/Calibration Engineer. This is a 4-6 months contract with the possibility of extension (Permanent is an option). Job description • Coordination of stakeholder specifications into system level requirements documents • Test, calibration and implementation of control software for hybrid-electric vehicles Requirements • Engineering degree, registered P.Eng preferred • Experience in application and calibration in the electric and hybrid-electric automotive sector as well as in electrical system debugging • Experience with calibration (ATI/ETAS), diagnostic (Ford IDS) tools and Vector software toolset • Knowledge in handling of ISO diagnostic service protocols (ISO xxxx9/ ISO xxxx5) and analyzing of electric system schematics • Knowledge in Mototron/Woodward ECUs and software toolset will be an asset • Has to provide own laptop and Matlab/Simulink license as well as Vector hardware/license for Canalyzer (or more fully featured tool) to work with • Excellent communication skills and work attitude Please apply via email by sending an adequate resume in a PDF or MS Word document and mention the exact job title in the subject line.
